Welcome to One Rochdale Health and Care (ORHC), Rochdales’s Local Care Organisation (LCO). We are a whole system partnership made up of eleven sector partners from across the health, care and well-being system and are responsible for organising and delivering care locally for the people of Rochdale.
Our vision is to, ‘improve the health & well-being outcomes for the Borough of Rochdale. We will do this by working together so that the services provided are safe, effective, coordinated and appropriate to enable healthy, happy communities and individuals.’
ORHC was formally established on 1st April 2018 and is ORHC is hosted by the Rochdale Division of Integrated Care, Bury and Rochdale Care Organisation (BARCO) which is part of the Northern Care Alliance Group. Steve Taylor is the Chief Officer of ORHC and also the Managing Director/Chief Officer of Bury & Rochdale Care Organisation.
Our ORHC Board is Independently Chaired by Mike Burrows and is made up of members representing a specific part of the health, care and well-being sector rather than own organisation. The ORHC Board operates in two parts, Part A which includes both commissioners and provider partners and Part B which is provider partners only. Sectors represented on the ORHC Board are:

- Adult Social Care
- Mental Health
- Primary Care
- Urgent & Out of Hours Primary Care
- Independent Care Sector (Care Homes & Domiciliary Care)
- Community & Voluntary Sector
- Children & Family Services
- Strategic Commissioning- HMR Clinical Commissioning Group (HMR CCG) & Rochdale Borough Council (RBC)
